Prints from the Darkroom

Every print available here begins the same way, a film negative, a developing tank and the immersive process of darkroom printing. The end product is an archival silver gelatin print on fibre-based paper. It is crafted by hand through these timeless and time-tested techniques that push the artist to embrace experimentation, “mistakes” and the unexpected. The creation of the print is just the end of one long journey and the beginning of a new one on display as it is seen and reinterpreted by fresh eyes over the years.
